All our patients at Colindale Dental receive:

Your 1^st appointment at Colindale Dental

Our welcome team will take your details to enter onto our practice computer system. They will then ask you to complete Confidential Medical and Dental History Forms.

You will then be shown to our waiting lounge where you may relax in very comfortable surroundings; a member of staff will collect you and take you to your new dentist.

During your initial consultation, we will take the time to discuss all your treatment options with you; afterwards you will be given an opportunity to speak with our Treatment Co-ordinator in our consultation room where you can ask any further questions and discuss your treatment further. You will also receive a complimentary welcome gift before the end of your visit with us.

We appreciate that most of our clients lead busy working lives, we offer evening appointments during the week for maximum convenience.

As a newly renovated practice, we pride ourselves on offering high quality dentistry and a friendly, professional service within a state-of-the art environment, and would like to offer you the opportunity to meet with us and discuss your dental needs.

We have a strong focus on preventative dentistry and aim to educate you to help you improve the condition of your mouth.

We practice minimally invasive dentistry and screen all our patients for oral cancer. Your health and comfort are our primary concerns. Please let us know of any conditions requiring special attention or of any changes in your health during treatment. If any problems should arise, at any time, please inform the Dentist, Practice Manager, or an appropriate staff member so we may have the opportunity to resolve the matter.

Nervous Patients

We never under-estimate the anxiety some people experience when receiving dental treatment. Therefore we are able to offer both relaxation and intravenous sedation techniques to our patients. Any concerns you may have with regard to this treatment may be discussed with the clinicians who have many years' experience in this area.

How can we look after Nervous Patients at Colindale Dental:

• Communicate your fears and concerns – we are good listeners at Colindale Dental and we are more than happy for you to talk about your fears and concerns with us openly and comfortably

• Using a pain-free injection technique – before giving an injection, your dentist can apply a numbing gel to your gums, and giving the injection slowly reduces the pressure and causes less pain
